Leggings

I know leggings will go this year, but I just got a cheap Forever 21 shirt (I had to exchange something there so got this) that I think will work with them. But wait, if leggings are on their way out, can I still work 'em?

Excuse the crappy quality of the photos, I am my own photographer!

things I love on Tuesdays

1. $1.00 Chicken Nuggets at McDonalds

2. $1.00 scoop at Baskin Robbins

3. The 4 hour gap in between my classes, allowing me to get the Chicken Nuggets or do whatever else I feel like.

4. Rachel Pally (so it's not just Tuesday that I love Rachel Pally, I accept Rachel Pally items all days of the week/month/year). I recently got a Rachel Pally bubble dress from a sample sale, and it's so soft and comfortable that I must have more Rachel Pally.

Scoop Neck Bubble Dress. The sash belt is also Rachel Pally, but you gotta buy it separately. The dress looks like it's missing something without it, so the belt -- or some sort of other belt -- is necessary.

At first, this dress is like, eh, ho hum. I generally don't like things that cover up my entire shoulder/chest area.

But then turn the little dress around, and bam! Big non-slutty, very hot momma surprise. The bow helps too.

The model is wearing those Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent Maryjanes that I want and posted about earlier too. Too bad I am broke bitch in addition to Fat Bitch.

And I love all things babydoll style, with the exception of babydoll tops (they create that unflattering pregger look) so it's no surprise I also love:

Rachel Pally Button Babydoll dress. The thing I like about babydolls is that they're so versatile.

Rachel Pally, Ella Moss, any designer that can make jersey look the way it does above has won Fat Bitch's heart.

going to school

I rarely dress up or put any effort into going to school, but sometimes doing so makes me feel a little more awake and special while there. I got this Ralph Lauren blazer that is SMALL and armpitty, but it isn't boxy and was super cheap compared to the retail of $175ish, so it'll do. It looks better on than pictured.

White BP Nordstrom sweater thing
Ralph Lauren Blazer
Strawberry necklace (this isn't the Kenneth Jay one, but almost just as good!)
Harajuku Lovers Cupcake Pin
Era of Chaos Skinny Jeans with ankle zip
Vintage Gucci Boston/Doctor's Bag

I think I want a bigger size in that Ralph Lauren. The one I have will do, but I want one that's more comfortable since I think I'd wear it often.

chanel love

This is why shoes are the most exciting accessory to get, and even beat buying clothes. Jewelry (okay, so SOME jewelry, depending on what it is and who it's from can be better), hats, belts, whatever don't even compare to shoes. Look at these Chanel heels. I don't care much for the ankle ties to say Chanel on them, but everything else is just perfect. Too bad they're a 37.5 and so much! Because I LOVE THEM like nothing else.

pretty things

Why do the prettiest things have to be $1015 on SALE? What the %$#@ kind of sale is that? Okay, okay. So it's pretty and made of great material and probably fits like a million dollars. But cmon now. Fat Bitches aren't also rich bitches. Someday.

I like the shoes too, what are those?

I also found these Maryjanes, Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent. I love feminine details like ribbons. These are more affordable than the dresses, but still too much for my poor ass.

All over the place

Random post focusing on no particular trend or unreasonable want, just ya know, typical fat bitch things. Whatever those are.

February 4 needs to come sooner so I can snatch me all the Proenza Schouler goodies. I love the button-down skirts in purple and blue, the bustier, and everything else that comes in those fun prints and colors.

Have you noticed the power of boots? I have two pairs that I wear often (the others hurt after a while or have some other issue with them) and these suckers cause attention like nothing else I have. They're just over-the-knee boots, but are extra special because I hunted these suckers down so nobody can get them at like, Steve Madden or something. I once saw a girl not too long ago in bright blue vinyl boots with a nasty chunky heel. Although fug, she got lots of attention, definitely mine! Speaking of boots, I need some Chloe Paddington or Silverado boots.

For my New York trip in February/March or whenever, I wanted to find a nice warm hat. Animal safe, since bunnies ARE indeed very cute and cuddly. I always liked Carrie's hat on Sex and the City when she's riding away with Petrovsky in Central Park (two episodes from the last). It's a Eugenia Kim hat and is unfortunately made of fox fur.

So the Beckhams are moving to LA. But what the hell is up with Posh? Why does she look like she should be sitting on my dashboard? Or wait, is she a chihuahua or something? Is it the big round boobs? Is it her policy of looking FIERCE as hell and never smiling? Also, why is she a size 23 when she is like 5'6" - 5'7"?

And I need these Jimmy Choo sandals.

They have them at Nordstrom at Fashion Valley. I'm just a few dollars short though of the $640. Just $637 more and they're mine! Wait, what?

Frederic Fekkai

I am super duper lazy when it comes to my hair (several other things too, but we won't get into that). I have fat heavy hair and it isn't all the way straight and it isn't all the way wavy. It's some kinky crap in between, and it cannot be air-dried. I often throw the mess up on the top of my head immediately coming out of the shower because otherwise I would have to blowdry it, which takes five years, and I am far too lazy to sit on my ass for five years in front of the mirror blowdrying my 8 lb. hair. On special occasions I'll let it air dry to it's ugliness, then curl it. Most of the time it's thrown on the top of my head and held with one of those giant claw clip things (rubberbands hurt and leave indents in my hair).

Today I got the Frederic Fekkai Wave Spray since my hair has some weird kinky wave to it, but mostly because I am too lazy to do my hair once out of the shower. This spray tells me to wait until my hair is nearly dry then spray it all over and scrunch or twist sections. I've tried the John Frieda Beach Blonde Ocean Waves crap, but that only made my hair smell like coconut (which is nice). Since my hair is so beastly, I don't have much faith in these wave creating sprays. But Frederic Fekkai is supposed to be the mac daddy (did I just say that?) of hair products, so I gave this a go. I haven't used it yet but am excited to. In high school, a lot of girls I knew who had naturally straight boring hair would come to class one day with wavy hair. I'd ask them how they did it. They would respond by telling me they braided their hair while it was wet and took it out in the morning and put some sort of hair product in it. So I tried it, and the braid-wave stayed for about 45 minutes and my hair would go back to being not completely straight/not wavy enough. Those lucky bitches with thin blonde hair. So manageable.

I know with the Fekkai stuff I'm going to have to spray tons in, twist like five sections up into tight buns on the top of my head and wait for them to dry some more, and take them out and diffuse and scrunch the hell out of them, and see if it'll work. It has beeswax in it (which sounds like it would dry out my hair, but whatever I need a lazy chick fix to doing hair) so it better work. Anyone else try it? Or know of a good way without using heat tools to get wavy hair that LASTS? Not curly, but like beachy wavy, except with a little more defined wave?

Thakoon

THAKOON IS THAI LIKE ME

Here's to fellow Thai homie Thakoon Panichgul for making clothes with style and that fit, which is more than I can say about the boxy square wonders my parents brought back from Thailand in October.

Some scrunchies my parents brought from Thailand:

Legacy NYC

Blogger is being annoying and making my font all huge and small and huge and small randomly so that's why it's all wonky.

One of my favorite websites? Legacy-NYC. The bags are my favorite section, on
e of a kind vintage designer bags that I've never seen before. They're still expensive, but so pretty. Here are my favorites:

Late 1970s Chanel in teal suede. I love the color and material. $575.

1970s Judith Leiber, "Lizard with stone pink scarab lined in matching faille with change purse." $475.

1960s Velour Gucci Bag. The woman who originally owned it bought it at the Gucci flagshop store in Rome. $750. Darn.

Check Legacy for yourself here - Legacy NYC.

Bunny Hat

I have decided, that for my second trip to NY in February/March, that I am going to get a bunny hat. What is the proper name for them? I knew it once when I looked it up... you know those hats with the ear flaps? I think Elmer Fudd wears one. Do you think PETA will kick my ass for wearing a bunny hat in the cold, cold days of NY? AHA. It's called a bomber hat. I guess I could get a bunny-friendly one. Bunnies are pretty cute. Don't mind the weird picture.

An Olsen twin (Ashley) in one:

Yeah? Or will I look like I'm hunting for wabbits?
