Two of my favorite things about this time of year - the smell of night-blooming jasmine and the purple trees. Purple trees aren't quite in bloom yet, and they do litter and stain cars with their purple petals, but no matter to me. Nothing cheers me up like seeing my street (above) covered in purple.
And of course, the pretty smell of jasmine at night.
